During the long rectorship of Dr. S. Roger Tyler from 1916 to 1953, Trinity could have been best described as "low church" in the old Virginia tradition.
However, beginning with the Rt. Rev. Robert B. Hall's subsequent tenure, Trinity has moved to the main stream of Episcopal liturgy and ritual. Trinity uses the 1980 Book of Common Prayer and the NRSV Bible (New Revised Standard Version.) The assigned readings for each Sunday can be found on the Episcopal Lectionary Page. In later years, since the Rev. Robert L. Thomas, Trinity has been eucharistically oriented with less frequent use of the Morning Prayer service.
Baptisms are ordinarily held during regular Sunday worship services for the benefit of the entire congregation. Regular weekly services are now held at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays and at 11 a.m. on Thursdays at The Woodlands.
