Woodlands

In an effort to expand its Ministry beyond the boundaries of the Church's property, Trinity conducts a weekly Eucharistic Service at The Woodland Retirement Community in Huntington. Located just south of the 5th Street exit of Interstate 64 and perched atop on of West Virginia's many beautiful hilltops, The Woodlands Retirement Community is home to 285 residents, including a number of life-long Trinitarians.

The Woodlands is a project of the Foster Foundation, a non-profit organization established in Huntington in 1922, and provides private home sites, apartment and assisted care living.

Opened in the late 1990's, The Woodlands has been a great success and continues to grow. With the help of a $2 million donation from the Episcopal Church and James and Joan C. Edwards, who are known for their many donations to the Huntington community, Woodlands is expanding its healthcare facility to include a 90 bed health care facility.
Trinity's Eucharistic service at the Woodlands is conducted every Thursday at 11:00 am, and in keeping with Trinity's practices, is open to all who wish to worship.
