At Trinity, we are called to serve God in all we do. Our church motto, "To know, love and worship God and to seek and serve Christ in the world" suggests that we serve wherever we are.
The goals of the Outreach Committee are to introduce, develop and perpetuate loving, caring, Christian service activities and events through which parishioners can serve in our community and around the world. We wish to address the needs of our community and the world through active Christian services and events provided through and from our church.
Trinity's Outreach Committee and activities have arranged and engaged in internationals service in Belize, in local service through the Lenten Opportunities (in which parishioners volunteer their time to a wide array of local service and Christian agencies and groups, during the 40 days of Lent), promoted participation with the local Habitat for Humanity activities, assisted with the church Rummage Sale, coordinated a coat collection for the City Mission, and facilitated other church service-activities. The Outreach Committee is active, arranging for next year's projects.
Another way we reach out to our own backyard is through lending space in our building for various organizations to hold meetings such as, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Hospice & Over-eaters Anonymous (OA).
Christian Associates' Cridlin Food & Clothing Pantry and CONTACT Rape Crisis Center are also housed in our church.
