EYP (Episcopal Youth Project)

St. John’s and Trinity have united to create a youth program for children ages 10 and up. The EYP meets every Wednesday from 5:47-7:47 p.m. for dinner and fellowship. Meetings alternate between the two churches and the average attendance is 25 youth. Recently, youth from St. Peter’s have also started attending.

This year we are focusing on building our own youth community by helping our larger community through a variety of activities and projects:

 

• Downtown Huntington Clean-up
• Treat Baskets for Cabell-Huntington and St. Mary’s
• Toiletry kits for Cridlin Food and Clothing Pantry
• Halloween Visitation with art and pumpkin presents at HEALTHSOUTH
• Thanksgiving Dinner for Ronald MacDonald House
• Baking cookies for other youth groups
• Christmas Caroling

We’ve also enjoyed being together for these great outings:

• Bowling Party
• Pool Party
• Movie Night
• Marshall Basketball Game
• Corn Maze and Picnic
• Cooking Days
• Random Acts of Kindness Adventures in teams
